What's news on this delightful Monday - week of awesome.

"Procure enough musical embellishment and you may find yourself, no doubt, part of an insatiable thirst for fecund music and its subtle remixed nuances."

To start you off, lets start with an example of Classixx recent production - in the vein of chilled out wet strings of terry-cloth, the duo's incongruous means that saw a byway take on Yacht's Psychic City returns with a more Acapulco Nights touch that graced the Holy Ghost! Most recently, Ladyhawke has been attaining the level of blog hype La Roux demanded  a few months ago. Met with early success in Modular's backyard, she leapt in to the limelight of the US and UK respectively and is returning home, perhaps victorious but more likely as the apotheosis of her 'goddess among thieves' appeal, the timely Classixx rendition of her most recent release, 'Magic' holds the least surprise, but an acclimatized enjoyment nonetheless.

On the other side of the menu for this monday, might I be so bold as to share with you another modular/ Bang Gang release, Toecutter's 'Best Party Ever'. I've heard numerous variations on 12" mixes and live sets recently, most commonly in the presence of Cassian, and I must comment there are clear winners and losers from the bunch of remixed services released. However of the more technically savvy, Flight Facilities show off once more their niche for ingenious and fresh noize posturing, sampling and manipulation of track that proves that these guys are typical winners with short term fame.

There's a Light Year rendition somewhere out there that is 'pure party'.
