Racket Cover.

Another discovery out of France, this duo of frenchmen pertain to the roots of their language and actually engage their lyrics in French - mostly - Its the self-confessed difference to say the likes of Phoenix, Gonzales, Sebastien Tellier - all good friends of theirs, which sparks such interest in them.

Housse De Racket are some fresh happy tunes, led by simple guitar rock and drum beat alliteration, littered with synth support, the lyrics are catchy (if you know french) and the breeze they blow is very current for the music worlds high seas. Perfect for summer hues, with their new album Forty Love in hand, I can say I'll be saving for the haze and sunlight of Summer to break it out. Tracks like Gwendoline, Pacific Sunset and Oh Yeah! bring to light this mindset.

Meanwhile their Synthetiseur EP expressed their dance modality and with remixes of the title track by the likes of TVITC favoruites, Van She Tech and others such as Das Glow and their own stellar dancefloor revision, there are few reasons beyond the language barrier not to like these guys. Grab the album and start off your next mix with the build-up intro of Forty Love. Sheer music fun of the French touch. I hope they venture Australia way soon.

Till then:
