Indie-pop, shoegaze and rock Behemoth, past 100.

Well after the slew of euphoric blog self-fulfillment over the past 48 hours, I broke down into a relaxed and almost immoveable mood without caveats and was joined by an accompaniment of music that stimulated smiles all around. It wasn't really humor that made me smile but more the mere sound waves that travelled through the air. I was wavering in the mellowness of indie production and sounds that pummel the trigger of happiness - so I smiled.

At the forefront of these sub-atomic sounds was the garage production of carpets and and steel hinges, the very modernistic revamp of the Jesus & Mary Chain (JMC), 'Crocodiles'. I started to pinch these guys tracks off the net one by one, before realizing they had an album. All for it, I dug into the foray that is their debut "Summer of Hate". The rhythm and beats are almost verbatim from the JMC scripts yet they branch out into a more chiseled and yet haphazard grunge surf/yacht - rock, yeah!

Pains of being Pure of heart. First listen. last listen. Asobi Sesku meets all forms of nostalgic soft rock indie. Practically the soundtrack to your "memories". Please. Investigate further.
