Bit of Bowie here, being presented very neatly in the form of an edit and the original. Quite simply it cuts out the chorus of Loving the Alien - a single from Bowie's 'Tonight' (RCA 1983) album that cashed in on his 'Let's Dance' fame of '82. While Loving the Alien was one of only two songs on the album actually written by the man, it was confessed to be over-produced in hindsight, whereby Bowie admitted it was more powerful with the lyrics backed by a more simpler accompaniment. However after listening to the edit before the original, I like the elements that are built on in the former, and the chorus thats so key in the latter.
