Because the people at Nike were so bored with extreme wealth being externally contributed to charities outside their co-ordination. It seems some in-house millions has produced a 'shiny new toy' to have some fun with in these tough times.
Watch for this to make its debut post-ridiculous ad on youtube under "Annual Nike employees Lunch and Family day: T-shirt Gun competition."
If your an SB supporter, this will only ridicule your corporate identity but enhance your knack for representing the coolest and most original things that come out of Nike.
